CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTION VISITS IN FRAME MDL § 329
The 6X9 frame is part of the HPD signage requirements for buildings in New York City.
The certificate of inspection visits frame is the proper frame required by the Department of Housing Preservation and Development, i.e. HPD, to accommodate a 6" x 9" inspection visit card. The owner or property manager must post the 6x9 frame at the property, so that when the HPD inspector who visits the premises can provide the yellow inspection card. If the top portion of the card is not completed, the owner must fill in top portion of card
The frame should be posted 48-62 inches above the floor. If a mailbox exists, the frame should be posted at or near the mailbox. If there is no mailbox in the vestibule, the owner should select a suitable accessible location in the vestibule or entranceway of the building for the frame.
